Despite Coronavirus Lockdown Its Business As Usual For Cameroon's Awono In The Belarus Professional League

Unlike the rest of the world that has suspended everything related to football because of the coronavirus, Belarus has not and its league is still in full swing.

Involved in the action is Cameroonian forward, Junior Atemengue Awono, 25, who is currently playing football with his club Energetik – BGU .

Junior Atemengue’s Energetik – BGU beat Ruh Brest on matchday 2 of the Belarusian league by a lone goal.

The Cameroonian and his team are placed second on the log, with 6 points, level on points with top of the table Minsk whom they will host on April the 5th and a crucial clash.

The Belarusian league is the only European league currently ongoing in this era of the CoronaVirus, where a great deal of Europeans have quarantined citizens to keep the CoronaVirus spread in check.

We hope and pray that the virus continues to mercifully avoid all players.
