West Ham have signed Argentina midfielder Guido Rodriguez.
The 30-year-old joins the Hammers on a free transfer after his previous deal with Spanish side Real Betis expired earlier this summer.
Rodriguez, who plays at the base of midfield, was part of the Argentina squad which won the World Cup in 2022 and the 2021 and 2024 Copa America titles.
West Ham's technical director Tim Steidten described the signing of Rodriguez as 'a big statement of intent'.
Norwich have signed Manchester City defender Callum Doyle on a season-long loan.
The 20-year-old travelled with Pep Guardiola's side on their pre-season tour of the United States but is yet to make a competitive first-team appearance for the club.
He previously spent time on loan at Sunderland, Coventry and Leicester, playing 17 times as the Foxes were crowned Championship winners last season.
Doyle told Norwich's website as cited by Sports Central: 'I'm very excited and glad that it's finally done. I feel really grateful to be here and can't wait to get started. I think we can have a really good season here.'
Sporting director Ben Knapper said: 'Callum is a player we've wanted to bring to the club for some time, and I'm so happy that our patience has been rewarded.'
Elsewhere in the Championship, West Brom have signed winger Lewis Dobbin on a season-long loan from Aston Villa.
The 21-year-old moved to Villa in June, having made 15 Premier League appearances for Everton and also spent the 2022-23 campaign on loan at Derby.
Dobbin said on the West Brom website: 'I'm really happy to be here. It's the perfect opportunity to get first-team minutes and show what I can do. 'I've heard a lot about the Championship and I know it's a tough, competitive league. I'm ready for it, though. I really want to show what I'm about.'
Baggies head coach Carlos Corberan said: 'Lewis is a young, talented player who has come in to strengthen our team in attack. 'We are very pleased to have him here for the season.'
