Nadal And Federe Arer On A Different Level Both On And Off The Court, Says WTA Star

Federer and Nadal have created one of the most intense rivalries in the history of the sport.


ATP has announced the composition of the Players Council, which will remain in office for the two-year period 2021-2022. Several players were re-elected to the board for a new term. Among them are the Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.  


The French Gilles Simon, number 63 in the world but in the past rose to number 9 as best ranking in 2009, returns to the ATP body. Simon, who has won 14 career titles in the major circuit, has already been a member of the Council for three terms between 2012 and 2018.


The Spanish Pablo Andujar and Marcus Daniell, 31-year-old New Zealand doubler, number 45 in the world, make their debut. a best ranking of number 34. The president and vice-president have not yet been established, who will be chosen at the first meeting of the Council in 2021.

Others: Kevin Anderson, Andy Murray. Former Member Representative: Colin Dowdeswell. Representative of the coaches: Daniel Vallverdu. During an interview with Digisport, Simona Halep was asked who she prefers between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.


Halep pays tribute to Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal


He said as cited by Sports Central: “I can say that I like Roger Federer for the beauty of his game and the way he plays this sport,” Simona Halep said. “You have the feeling that he does not sweat and that he has the T-shirt the same as when the game started.


Rafael Nadal is a totally different tennis player. He expresses hard work and a crazy desire to continue improving himself. They are different people both on and off the court. I don't like staying with either one since I like both”.


Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer and Simona Halep rank amongst the top 5 in the ATP and WTA all-time charts of prize money earned. Federer and Nadal are 2nd and 3rd respectively in the all-time earner's list for ATP, while Simona Halep is the 4th highest earner in the history of the WTA tour.


Roger will be turning 40 next August. He’s certainly not getting any younger. At the same time, the young guns have made considerable development this season. Fans would really like to see the Federer fairytale continue for as long as possible.


Whenever he makes his return on tour, those moments will be cherished. Although his grand slam record is under threat, winning another title at the prestigious Wimbledon will be monumental. Many would agree that tennis will surely lose an asset the day he bids goodbye.
