Napoli Have Reportedly Rejected An Opening Bid For Nigerian Marksman Victor Osimhen

Napoli have reportedly turned down a fresh €60 million offer for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, as speculation about his future gathers significant pace.

Osimhen is currently having an incredible season, on loan at Galatasaray, scoring an impressive 36 goals and adding eight assists in 40 appearances.

His standout performances were key to them clinching their 25th Super Lig title, and fans are desperate for the club to secure him permanently.

However, Napoli quickly rejected Galatasaray’s €60 million bid, believing it falls short of their valuation for the Super Eagles star.

While Galatasaray are keen to keep him, there’s growing concern within the club about the financial challenges of such a big-money move.

According to reports, Saudi clubs and Manchester United are also in discussions, but the hefty price tag is a major sticking point.

There’s no doubt Osimhen is in the form of his life and would be a game-changer for most top European teams, but the financial side of any deal needs careful consideration.

The striker's preference is to move to the Premier League, but it remains to be seen what happens.
