According to the club’s medical team, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Beşir, treatment has already begun — but Onuachu is expected to be sidelined for around 4 weeks. That rules him out of Trabzonspor’s opening league games:
vs Kocaelispor (Aug 11)
vs Kasimpasa
vs Antalyaspor
vs Samsunspor
It’s a frustrating start for the 31-year-old, who just returned to Turkey after his loan stint at Southampton — and was hoping to hit the ground running.
