“Pay Me For Every Ace!” — Djokovic Teases Alcaraz As He Hunts Grand Slam Number 25

Novak Djokovic may be laser-focused on winning a historic 25th Grand Slam title, but he’s clearly not lost his sense of humor.

At the Australian Open, the Serbian legend couldn’t help but notice Carlos Alcaraz’s newly tweaked serve — and it looked a little too familiar for comfort. Novak wasted no time having some fun with it.

“As soon as I saw it, I sent him a message,” Djokovic said with a grin after his first-round win.

“I told him we need to talk about the copyrights.”

When the two finally crossed paths, Djokovic turned the joke up another level.

“I told him we have to discuss the percentage of his winnings. Every ace, I expect a tribute to me.”

Classic Novak — playful, confident, and fully aware of his legacy.

Alcaraz wasn’t caught off guard. The Spaniard knew the comparisons were coming and laughed it off before reporters could even ask.

“You probably meant to say it looks very similar to Djokovic’s, right? I knew it.”

A light-hearted moment between generations, showing the respect — and rivalry — that defines modern tennis. As Djokovic continues his chase for Grand Slam No. 25, one thing is clear: even the jokes are championship-level.
