Sane Pays Tribute To Man City Fans After Completing Move To Bayern


After rejecting the offer to extend his contract with the Citizens, German international Leroy Sane has ended the longtime transfer saga by finally moving to Bayern Munich


The winger has posted a thank you message to Manchester City on social media after securing his transfer to Bayern Munich.


Leroy Sane ended the long-standing transfer saga by switching to the German giants. He arrived in Munich on Wednesday for medicals and to put pen to paper a five-year contract that runs until 2025, where he will double his money to €22m euros a year.


Meanwhile, City will make a profit on a player thye could have lost for free next summer when his contract expires after refusing to accept a new deal.


The German champions will pay €49million in advance with  €11million in add-ons, bringing the deal to £54.8m.


Sane took to Twitter and Instagram to quickly appreciate everyone involved at the Etihad club.


He wrote on his social media sites as cited by Sports Central: “First of all, thank you Citizens! Thanks so much for the great time and all the support over the last 4 years. “It has been a really intense and successful time which I surely won’t forget. “We won many games, scored a ton of goals, broke a couple of records and celebrated 7 trophies together. “Thanks to all the fans, to the staff and to my team-mates! I will always remember this time with great joy and pride. “Also thanks to my coach who has made me a better player and has a large share of my PFA Young Player of the Year award in 2018. “I’ve learned a lot and I’m very proud to have been part of this journey.


The 24-year old has opened another chapter in his career and is ready to showcase the reason he swapped England to Germany.
